Planting the seeds of faith & community

Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” -- Matthew 19:14

Welcome! Faith Kids worship is designed for kids ages 3 years* - 5th grade and occurs at both our 9am and 11am service. We strive to help our children learn about God's love through the stories of Holy Scripture and build relationships that matter.

    Day School

    Day School (18m-K)

Welcome to Faith Lutheran Day School where we are "Shaping Young Hearts"! Faith's fully accredited program serves children ages 18 months to kindergarten. Class hours are Monday-Friday 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

FLDS offers an optional extended day program Monday-Friday for ages 2 and up for an additional fee.

    Mission Statement

Our mission is to provide a quality Christian early childhood setting in which each child is encouraged to grow, learn and develop as a child of God.

    Educational Philosophy

We believe that a high quality Christian early childhood program provides a safe nurturing environment that promotes spiritual, cognitive, social, physical and emotional development of young children and their families.

    Building faithful community together

"Children are a gift from the LORD; they are a reward from him." -- Psalm 127:3 NLT

Faith's Youth ministry is where middle school students, high school students, and adult leaders come together to grow in faith, fellowship, and relationships that matter.  We build those relationships by building faithful community together and deepening our relationships with God and with one another. To accomplish this we focus on things like:

    • Building relationships that encourage honest and open communication
    • Opportunities to serve the younger children, the church, and the community
    • Worship, music, Bible study, outdoor ministry opportunities, movie night, crafts and events

God Squad is the youth group for 6th-12th graders. We focus on building relationships in order to create a meaningful space where we can feel comfortable talking about our relationship with God and grow in a fun and inviting environment. Join us for our next event and bring a friend!
For any God Squad questions, please contact Pastor Nick.

Mission: The mission for God SQD is to foster relationships with God and one another while also sharing a Christ-like love with the community.

Theme: Over the summer we focus on our outdoor ministry! (Archery, s'mores/pizza over the campfire, fishing, drive-in movie night, and our summer service event.) We connect each event with a Christian theme.

Confirmation is a 2-year program that starts in 7th grade. The class begins in the Fall each year.  The first year is a Biblical study that helps young people engage their faith and better understand the stories of the Bible. They will meet once every other month. The second year of the program is a focus on what Lutheranism is all about. They will meet once a month and have several service components built in. The program will be offered in person as well as online. For more information, contact Pastor Nick.

Youth who love music (or want to learn to) are invited to join one of our choirs. Struck by Faith Choir (6th-12th grades) rehearses Wednesdays from 6:30-7:30 pm.

    Mission Opportunities

Mission and Outreach opportunities are ways for our students to think and act beyond themselves and to build/grow Relationships That Matter!

Every summer, Faith students do a special week-long mission project or take a special trip.  The focus is to teach practical service skills and deepen relationship bonds.

    • High school students went to the 2018 ELCA Youth Gathering in Houston, TX.  It was a national gathering of high school students. For most students this is a once in a lifetime event ~ happens every 3 years.

Contact Faith for information on any of these opportunities.

    Children's Choir

The children's choir, Growing in Faith, provides an opportunity for children in grades K-5 to learn Christian music and enjoy fun and fellowship each week. These young musicians also begin to learn how they can use their musical gifts to praise God by enhancing our worship experience at various services. No auditions are required, and guests are always welcome. For more information, contact Ben Owens

Starting soon! Rehearsals will be Thursdays from 5:45-6:30pm in the Love to the Max Center - Music Room 204.

Faith believes in one Baptism for the forgiveness of sins. Through the waters of Baptism, we are made new and experience God’s grace. We invite all who are beginning their faith journey, babies through adults, to receive this gift.

If you are interested in baptism contact Pastor Nick.

    First Communion

Faith welcomes all people to the Lord’s table for Holy Communion. A discussion and activity is offered to children and their parents during Lent to understand the meaning and significance of the gift of Holy Communion.

First Communion is celebrated at the Family Easter Service on Holy Saturday.
Families who desire communion instruction for their children are invited to contact Pastor Nick to set up a time to discuss what First Communion means. All people are welcome at the table, and this discussion is not a prerequisite for children to receive communion. Instead, it is a tool for parents to utilize in partnership with the church, as together we nurture children in their walk of faith. We will cover what happened at the Last Supper, the elements of bread and wine at communion, and what it means to receive this gift from God freely.
